The LCRA has revised it's water estimates based on it's understanding that the current drought is now the longest on record. The substance of the report is that while LCRA previously believed that it would have 600,000 acre-feet available in any given year, and was selling approximately 425,000 acre-feet/year, they are now publicly stating that the volume available for distribution is peaking at 500,000 acre-feet/year. This dramatically lowers their cushion.
