When to plant and what? A soil temperature based guide.

I have been struggling with date based calendars that tell us what to plant when.  It seems as though climate change has been shifting the goal posts.  Our winters are becoming shorter and our summers (> 100F) are becoming longer.  So, I started looking for an alternative guideline to the date based calendars and this is what I found.  Click on the picture above to see the whole chart, or here to see the link from the Colorado State University Extension System.
